Civil Litigation
Civil litigation is any civil case in a Maryland Court, including the County Circuit Courts, District Courts, and Orphans' Courts and the Maryland Federal District Courts. Civil litigation can be a small claim (less that $5,000) or a large claim; and it can be a bench trial (a trial in front of a judge) or a jury trial. Civil litigation can include matters of family law, personal injury, collections, and contracts.
